Describe a scene, start from a photo, or pin up to 10 keyframes on a timeline. FLUX 3 Max makes a 5 to 20 second video with sound, most in under a minute, in 720p or 1080p.
Type a scene or add a photo. FLUX 3 Max makes a video with sound in under a minute.
A vintage red convertible drives along a coastal cliff road at golden hour, a drone shot tracks from the side and then rises above it, the sea glittering below. A smooth engine purr and waves crashing.
Type a scene and FLUX 3 Max makes it from words alone, or start from a photo as the first frame and, if you like, end on a second one. Pick a mode, see what went in and what came out, then start from the same prompt.

Most image-to-video tools take one picture, or a first and a last. FLUX 3 Max's keyframes mode takes up to 10 and pins each one to a moment in the clip, at 24 frames a second. The model moves through every frame in order, with matching sound.

Max is the speed-tuned version of FLUX 3. On fal's own benchmark it finishes a 10-second clip in about 12 seconds, and on Artificial Analysis' text-to-video board it sits level with the best models. Image to video is where it trails.
Times grow with length, resolution and fal's queue: our 20-second clip took 100 seconds and a 15-second one 104. Full numbers: FLUX 3 Max vs Seedance 2.5 · vs MiniMax H3.

Contact supportFLUX 3 Max is a video model. You give it a text prompt, a photo with an optional last frame, or up to 10 keyframes, and it makes a 5 to 20 second video with sound. It is a faster, post-trained version of FLUX 3, Black Forest Labs' first video model, made by fal Research with Black Forest Labs and released on fal in October 2026. This site runs it for you in the browser.
Yes. Keyframes mode takes up to 10 pictures and pins each one to a second of the clip, at 24 frames a second, and the model moves through every one in order, with matching sound. You set where the story is at 0 s, 5 s and 10 s, for example day, sunset and night. It costs the same per second as text or image to video, and the keyframes mode here is the model's own keyframes-to-video endpoint on fal.
On fal's own benchmark a 10-second 720p clip takes about 12 seconds, against about two minutes for FLUX 3. On this site the median wait for a 5-second 720p clip was 17 seconds across 11 clips we made on 3 November 2026, and longer or 1080p clips take longer: our 20-second clip took 100 seconds. Times also depend on fal's queue.
Not unlimited, but your first clip is free: new accounts get 180 credits when they sign up with Google, with no card needed, which covers one 5-second 720p video. After that you buy credits once, from the smallest pack, and a failed video does not use credits.
Both. Black Forest Labs built FLUX 3 and fal Research trained Max on top of it. At launch it ran only on fal. Flux3Max.io is an independent service that sends your request to fal; it is not affiliated with Black Forest Labs or fal.
FLUX 3 is the base model. Max is the version tuned for speed: fal's own benchmark has a 10-second 720p clip in about 12 seconds for Max against about two minutes for FLUX 3. Max makes 720p and 1080p video; there is no 4K.
Not today. FLUX 3 Max runs on fal's servers and its weights are not published, so there is nothing to download and run yourself. You use it through a service like this one.
From 5 to 20 seconds, in 720p or 1080p, in shapes from vertical (9:16) to ultra-wide (21:9). Longer clips and 1080p cost more credits per second, and the price shows before you start. Sound is generated with the video and can be switched off.
Yes. The sound is generated together with the picture, so the clip arrives with its own audio track. Turn Sound off in the options if you want a silent video.
A 5-second clip at 720p uses 180 credits (36 a second); at 1080p each second uses 62, and a clip can run up to 20 seconds. The price shows next to the button before you start. Packs run from $9.90 for 1,000 credits (5 clips at 720p) to $149.90 for 18,000 credits (100), so the more you buy the less each second costs. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no auto-renewal, and your credits do not expire while your account is active.
Only photos you have the right to use: your own, or an adult's who has clearly agreed. Photos of children, celebrities and other people who have not agreed are not allowed, and neither is anything illegal or sexual. Photos go through a safety check before they are used, and the description you type is checked too. See the Content Policy.
It costs nothing. A failed video does not use credits, your balance stays as it was and you can try again. A connection timeout does not necessarily mean it failed: a finished video also appears in My videos.
No. Buy a one-time credit pack through our secure checkout. Buying a pack only adds credits, and you decide when to use them. Your credits do not expire while your account is active.
Unused credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Credits already used are not refunded, and a failed video is not charged. See the Refund Policy for duplicate charges and outages, or contact support about an existing order.
About a minute from prompt to video. $9.90 covers your first clips, and the credits never expire.
